What's the difference between Free and Verified

July 11, 2026

Aiprobase has two tiers. Both publish a real, indexed profile. The difference is in how much information that profile contains — and what that means for how AI agents find and recommend you.

Free tier

A free profile covers the essentials: who you are, where you're based, and how to contact you.

Specifically, that's:

  • Entity type and basic information (name, title, legal structure)
  • Registration details
  • Short description and full overview
  • Location and service area
  • Contact information (email, website, phone)

Once your email is verified, the profile publishes immediately. You get a public page at aiprobase.com/p/{your-slug}, a downloadable JSON-LD file, and a Markdown file. The profile is indexed by AI search engines.

The profile is marked as Unverified. This means AI agents can find you, but your profile lacks the signals that increase the likelihood of a recommendation: no keywords, no pricing, no working hours, no FAQ, no authority signals, no trust badge.

Free is a starting point. It gets you visible. It doesn't get you recommended.

Verified tier — $25/year

Verification unlocks five additional sections and a manual review of your business registration.

AI Search Optimization

You add specific keywords that describe your expertise. These map to knowsAbout in Schema.org and directly affect which queries trigger your profile. This is the highest-impact section for AI discoverability. How to use it effectively is covered in How to choose the right keywords for your AI profile.

Pricing & Offers

You list your services and products with price ranges, currencies, and billing periods. When a user asks an AI agent "find a web developer who works for under £5,000" or "find a SaaS tool under $50/month", profiles with pricing data are far better positioned to match. Without this section, your profile cannot be matched to budget-specific queries.

Delivery & Operations

Working hours, response time, work format (remote, on-site, in-person), timezone, and shipping details for physical products. This enables queries like "find a consultant available same-day" or "find a supplier who ships to Germany".

Authority & Network

Social profiles (LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter/X, etc.), external reviews (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch), certifications and awards, team members, and partners. These feed into sameAs in Schema.org — the mechanism by which AI agents cross-reference your identity across platforms. The more sources that confirm your existence and credibility, the higher the trust score your profile carries.

FAQ

You add questions and answers that clients or AI agents commonly ask about you. There's no limit on the number of questions or the length of answers — AI agents actively extract and cite FAQ content, making this one of the highest-performing sections for appearing in AI-generated responses. Write questions the way a real client would ask them, and start every answer with the answer itself.

Verified badge

A visible trust badge on your public profile page and a verificationStatus: Verified signal in your JSON-LD. AI agents use verification status as a trust signal when choosing between similar profiles.

Manual verification

After payment, our team manually reviews your business registration number against public registries. This typically takes less than 24 hours, up to 3 business days.

This step exists because the verified badge needs to mean something. Anyone can claim a registration number. We check it.

What happens when Verified expires

Verification runs for 12 months from the date of payment. You'll receive a reminder 30 days before expiry and again at 7 days.

If you don't renew, your profile reverts to Free status — it stays published, stays indexed, but the data from the four Verified sections is hidden and the badge is removed. Your data isn't deleted; it's restored immediately when you renew.

If your registration details haven't changed, renewal is automatic — no repeat manual review.

Which tier is right for you

If you're setting up your profile for the first time, start with Free. Fill in your descriptions carefully — this alone puts you ahead of most businesses that have no structured AI presence at all.

Upgrade to Verified when you're ready to be recommended, not just found. The keywords, pricing, and FAQ sections in particular are what move you from "AI agents know you exist" to "AI agents match you to specific client requests".
