Mission
People using AI need accurate answers. Businesses need to be represented accurately. We build the structured data layer that connects both — today for AI search, tomorrow for agent-to-agent discovery.
The internet is changing faster than most businesses realise. Traditional search is fading. People now ask AI agents for recommendations, research, and decisions — and that shift is accelerating every day.
But there's a problem. When you ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or Claude to find a service provider, the results are often wrong. Irrelevant companies. Outdated information. Fabricated details presented with complete confidence.
A study by the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia University tested eight AI search engines across 1,600 queries and found that more than 60% returned incorrect information. ChatGPT Search was answered incorrectly in 67% of test queries (134 of 200) — and rather than admit uncertainty, it confidently invented answers.
The problem isn't AI. The problem is that the information about a business is scattered, inconsistent, and unverified across the web — so AI fills the gaps with guesses. A well-designed website tells your story to people; it doesn't give AI one authoritative set of facts to rely on.
Businesses face a different but equally broken reality. Closed platforms control who gets seen — not based on quality, but on paid placement and strict platform criteria. Small businesses, freelancers, and home-based specialists are often excluded because they don't fit narrow platform criteria: no physical storefront, no brand registration, no proof that satisfies a faceless reviewer.
A licensed consultant working from home has the same legal right to operate as a company with a city-centre office — but only one of them gets verified on most platforms.
This is a structural problem. And it becomes more damaging as AI agents become the primary way people discover services.
Since 2024, the team behind Aiprobase has been exploring how AI agents search for business services — using AI assistants the same way people increasingly search today. The results were consistently poor.
AI would return companies with outdated information, wrong locations, and services that didn't match the query. Every search required manual fact-checking. Every recommendation needed verification. AI tools were getting smarter, but the data they accessed stayed messy.
The core issue was clear: businesses optimise for Google and for human visitors. Nobody was building structured, machine-readable data specifically for AI agents — and nobody was making that accessible to freelancers and small businesses without technical resources.
User behaviour is shifting fast. Every day, more people delegate tasks to AI agents instead of searching manually. In the near future, agents won't just recommend — they'll negotiate, purchase, and contract services on behalf of their users.
OpenAI's agent can already navigate websites, fill shopping baskets, and return control to users to complete payment. AI agents in procurement now manage entire sourcing processes autonomously — soliciting quotes, evaluating options, and recommending suppliers.
When that becomes mainstream, closed marketplaces may lose their gatekeeping power. Users won't visit Amazon or Google Maps. Their agent will query multiple sources, compare options, and choose based on real value — not sponsored placement or algorithmic manipulation.
We're building the infrastructure for that future. Through Aiprobase, any business — from a registered corporation to a solo freelancer — can be visible and understandable to AI agents. When an agent searches for a service, it evaluates providers based on direct, structured data and verified information, not on who paid the most for visibility.
Amazon generated $56.2 billion in advertising revenue in 2024 — not by connecting users with better products, but by selling placement. The best product rarely appears first; the most profitable placement does.
AI agents change that dynamic. An agent optimising for its user doesn't care about sponsored results. It evaluates on criteria: quality, price, availability, fit. A small business with better pricing and a complete, structured profile can be discovered just as easily as a multinational.
That's the future we're working toward. Businesses compete on merit, not on who can afford the platform's toll.
Aiprobase operates on a simple principle: everyone pays the same, everyone gets the same visibility.
There are no paid placements, no sponsored results, no advertising. Businesses and specialists listed on Aiprobase compete on one thing only — the quality and completeness of their data. The more accurate and detailed your profile, the better AI agents can match you with the right queries.
We charge $25/year for a Verified profile. This fee serves three purposes:
Commitment signal — it ensures you're serious about maintaining accurate information, not filling the platform with fake or abandoned profiles.
Data quality — businesses that invest in verification provide complete, truthful information. That benefits everyone using the platform.
Sustainability — the fee covers operational costs: manual verification, infrastructure, and ongoing platform development.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Applicable taxes (VAT/GST) are calculated automatically based on your location and added at checkout.
If you don't renew, your profile stays live on the Free tier. No data is lost.
Here's what we will never do:
No ranking manipulation — your $25 gets you exactly the same placement as a company ten times your size. AI agents evaluate profiles based on relevance and fit, not on who paid more.
No sponsored results — we will never sell featured placement or top-of-search positions. That's the gatekeeper model we're replacing.
No advertising — your profile page will never show ads. Our platform exists to connect users with the right providers, not to monetise attention.
No visibility tiers — we won't create premium profiles that appear more prominently. Visibility is earned through data quality, not payment level.
The information in your profile is public by design — like a LinkedIn page or a Google Business listing. You decide how much to share.
Aiprobase is privacy-conscious by design.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. It sets cookies and collects data including your IP address, browser, and pages visited, and we ask for your consent through a cookie banner before any non-essential analytics run. You can decline or withdraw consent at any time. We never use this data for advertising targeting, and any analytics tools we add will be held to the same standard.
When you create a profile, we collect the information you choose to provide:
If you verify via official business registry (Path B, Option 1), we check your registration number against publicly available records — no sensitive documents required.
We analyse profile completeness patterns in aggregate to improve platform recommendations. We never track individual profile viewers or create "who viewed your profile" features.
After payment, your profile is manually reviewed within 3 business days (typically 24 hours).
Approximately 80% of spam submissions are filtered automatically.
Unlike traditional directories, we don't require physical storefronts or brand registrations. You can verify via one of two paths:
Provide any two of the following:
Provide your public business registry number (UK Companies House, US LLC/Corporation, EU Business Register). Verified automatically via public API where available.
❌ Physical office or storefront
❌ Registration on Google Maps, Yelp, or other platforms
❌ Legal business entity if you qualify via Path A
❌ Tax IDs in any form
If initial evidence is ambiguous, we may reach out via email.
Fake or spam submissions, less than 60% of required fields completed, misrepresentation, or prohibited content. If rejected, you receive an explanation and one free appeal opportunity. If a further resubmission is needed after that, a new $25 fee applies.
You fill out your profile and it saves automatically. Once Sections 1–6 are at least 60% complete, the payment option becomes available. After payment and successful verification, your profile goes live.
You can update your profile at any time — there are no limits on edits.
Draft profiles that are never completed are deleted after 30 days of inactivity, with a reminder sent 7 days before.
Aiprobase complies with GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
Your public profile shows only the information you chose to publish — name, description, services, location, contacts, and verification status. Tax IDs and registration documents are never published.
Exception: if you verified via a public business registry, we may display the registration number with a link to the official public record, as this information is already publicly accessible.

Aiprobase operates on a foundation of fairness:
Everyone pays the same, everyone gets the same visibility. A freelancer working from home and an established company both pay $25/year for verification and receive identical treatment in AI agent results.
No discrimination by size, geography, or industry. We verify legitimate businesses regardless of whether they're solo consultants or enterprises, based anywhere in the world, in any legal industry.
Merit-based visibility only. Your discoverability depends on the relevance and completeness of your profile — not on payment tier, advertising spend, or any other factor within our control.
Aiprobase profiles are structured specifically for machine consumption. Every published profile is accessible in formats that AI agents and crawlers can read directly — no login, no barriers.
What's never exposed in any format:
We don't require Google Maps, Yelp, or traditional directory listings to verify your business. You verify through flexible modern proof: online presence, official registration, or both.
We will never sell featured placement, sponsored results, or premium visibility. AI agents evaluate profiles based on relevance and data quality alone. Profile pages will never show ads.
Every profile includes JSON-LD markup, canonical identifiers, and standardised schemas so AI agents can parse and represent your business accurately.
Every profile is manually reviewed by our team before publication to prevent spam and low-quality submissions. Automation handles initial checks — humans make final decisions.
We maintain a trustworthy registry by excluding harmful and illegal content.
Prohibited categories: illegal services, financial scams, pyramid schemes, adult content, unlicensed gambling. These categories are not available in our registration form and are rejected during manual review.
All other legal businesses are welcome — from traditional industries to emerging sectors — as long as they operate lawfully and provide accurate information.
The current verification fee is $25/year. If operational costs require a price adjustment in the future, we will announce changes at least 90 days in advance and apply them only to new verifications. Existing verified profiles will not be charged retroactively.
Pricing will never be used as a competitive lever. Any adjustment reflects real operational costs only.
Aiprobase is an early-stage platform. Instead of publishing metrics we don't yet have, we commit to process transparency:
Changelog — every platform change, feature addition, and policy update is documented and published on this page.
Policy explanations — when we update Terms, pricing, or moderation rules, we publish a clear explanation of why, not just what changed.
Direct access — for questions about transparency, principles, or platform direction, contact us directly at [email protected].
As the platform grows and meaningful data becomes available, we'll share updates on profile numbers, verification statistics, and platform health.
